The PUB does not regulate the daily operations of the regulated utilities. The PUB encourages all matters of complaints to be directed to the utility and/or municipality FIRST. The PUB should be the last resort for resolution. A review of the matter may result in costs being incurred by both the applicant and the utility.

ABOUT US

The Manitoba Public Utilities Board (the Board) is an independent quasi-judicial administrative tribunal operating under the authority of the Manitoba Legislature. While the current Public Utilities Board Act was passed in 1959 the Board has regulated services under other legislation since 1913.
